The Side Effects of Laughter

You hear all the horrid stories about side effects of medications on TV everyday but you never hear about the side effects of laughter. Why is that? Well let's take a serious look at them.

One you've all heard since you were children, "laugh until your sides ache". How serious can that be? Well depends on how long and how hard you laugh. We find most people are able to stop their boisterous belly laughter long before any damage can be done. Nor is there any documented evidence that laughter can be harmful in anyway.

Oh I've got one for you, what about "laugh till you cry"? Well science tells us crying is a good release for all those feel GOOD chemicals in our brain and has a soothing effect on our emotions. So guess that's not so bad either.

Are there any bad side effects of aerobic belly laughter? Not that we can find, only GOOD ones like:

  • Increases your heart rate, isn't that what so many are jogging, running, dancing and participating in other aerobic workouts?
  • Lowers your blood pressure, how many are on prescription drugs that might not need to be?
  • Increases your own body's growth hormone by up to 87%, see the study form Loma Linda University.
  • Lowers blood sugar levels
  • Increases the blood flow in your heart
  • Lowers s-t-r-e-s-s
  • Great anti-depressant

Just plain makes you feel better all over, so who wouldn't want those kinds of side effects? Get started today laugh yourself silly . . . you'll feel better instantly.
