What is Laughter Links Leadership Training?

And . . . Why Does It Work?

We teach people to laugh for no reason. Sounds silly doesn't it? But guess what . . . it works and it doesn't even require any special clothing or equipment. Simple, everyday work clothes work just fine.

So what is laughing for no reason? It is Laughter Aerobics, in other words laughter-in-the-absence-of-humor. Humor is a wonderful thing and the world would be a mighty sad place without it. The problem is everyone's sense of humor is quite different from his or her neighbor's. In today's business culture we must be cognizant of what the media calls, "being politically correct". Inappropriate humor in the work place can be harmful.

Laughter Aerobics offers you a way of enjoying the mental, physical and financial benefits, of purposeful aerobic laughter without concern for inappropriate humor.

Yes, there are definitely great financial benefits from daily corporate laughter.  We have created a new training model specific for business and industry based on Dr. Katrina's yoga breathing exercise that induces laughter without humor.

Laughter is actually a learned physical act. Babies are not born laughing are they? In fact, most of the ones I know arrived screaming. It is not until an infant reaches the age of 10-14 weeks that they actually learn to laugh.

We teach people simple Laughter Aerobics, incorporating basic yet dynamic skills in communication and accountability that develops a deep level of trust that is rarely accomplished through more conventional forms of training.

Why does our training work? Because is it NOT a quick fix. How many days does it take to change or develop a new habit? Scientists tell us it takes 21 days of repetitive action to change or develop a new habit. When corporate laughter becomes a daily habit maximum financial benefits will be achieved. We have designed our program with long-range permanent results. We will teach you - how to teach others - making your program self-perpetuating and self-sustaining.
